It has been a pleasure working on this co-produced animated documentary along with communities in South East Northumberland, sound artist Alison Carlier, animator Sheryl Jenkins, and producer Bridie Jackson.
Alison and myself were commissioned to make a soundtrack that considered the complexity of cultural heritage in South East Northumberland. We set about talking to people to see what direction the work would take and listened to their feedback every step of the way. Thanks to the generosity and imagination of everyone involved it has been quite a journey.
