Spoil and Fill

I am delighted to announce that I have secured funding from Arts Council England for my project Spoil and Fill. Spoil and Fill is a moving image project, installation and pop up book that will be exhibited at Studio 1:1 in London in April 2014. The project revolves around the repeated demolition of a building that I reconstructed after it was destroyed by the IRA Bishopsgate bombing in 1993. The project will engage the construction industry and use my own archive material and footage from the London Screen Study Collection. I am really looking forward to working with writer Charmian Griffin and artist Marenka Gabeler, along with mentoring by Karen Mirza, co-founder of no.w.here.
