‘From your perspective’ was a community art project that ran as part of the project Artists in Residence, Dorking – a collaboration with artists Anne Brodie and Ackroyd & Harvey. The project involved working with the local artist’s group, a beginners learn to paint class and workshops with the local school. The Y5/Y6 class took home disposable cameras and took photographs of the local area from their perspective and children at a National Play Day event drew homes to add to the ‘street’ in the school corridor.Dorking Group of Artists came to Goodwyns Estate and painted in the landscape. Material made during this project fed into the film ‘Equivalents I-VIII’.
